Thirty years ago Peter Malcolm, a black civil rights activist, was assassinated and race relations in the town have been strained ever since. Dr. Ron Palmer is an influential black community leader who is supporting the development. John Malcolm, Peter's brother, withdrew from the community and the fight for civil rights after his brother's assassination. He feels hatred for Jack Herrod who is the towns bigoted, ex-sheriff. Herrod was responsible for letting the investigation of Peter's murder dissipate with no one charged. aEnglish dialogue with optional English, French or Spanish subtitles; closed-captioned. aAfrican American neighborhoods xUnited StatesxDrama aGolf coursesxDesign and constructionxDrama aAfrican American civil rights workersxUnited StatesxDrama
